Answers to some of the common questions about the courses .
Q. I am a 4th year student and not due to qualify until next year. Can I still apply for MDU F1 membership now and receive discounted course fees?
A. Yes, you can still apply for MDU F1 membership and receive discounted fees as well as a free gift to thank you for joining. Your F1 membership will then be in place ready for when you qualify.
Q. When will I receive the course notes?
A. You will receive comprehensive course notes at the course once you have registered. The course notes are intended to accompany the lecturers’ presentations and therefore are not distributed in advance of the course.
Q. What time do the courses start and finish?
A. Weekend and one-day courses:
Registration from 8.30am. The courses start at 9am and finish at 5pm.
Ten-week course:
Registration on the first week from 5.30pm and on subsequent weeks from 6pm. The course starts at 6.30pm and finishes at 9.30pm each week.
It is important to register at the MDU desk on every day of each course for security reasons.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. Informal, white coats are not required.
Q. Is car parking available?
A. All of our course venues are easily accessed by public transport and all have parking facilities nearby. There may be a charge in some locations.
Q. Do I need to bring lunch?
A. No. Complimentary refreshments and a sandwich lunch are provided.
